Province of Guelmim: More than 2,600 tourists in 2021

Tourist establishments classified in the province of Guelmim welcomed, during the year 2021, some 2,660 tourists of all nationalities.

According to a report by the Guelmim-Oued Noun Regional Tourism Department, these units recorded, in 2021, 3,656 overnight stays, noting that French international tourists rank first among visitors (13), followed by four Belgian tourists, four French , four Turks and three Chinese.

The other tourists come from Spain, Germany, the United States and Switzerland, as well as other Arab and African countries.

The months of last November and December recorded the highest number of tourists (759/1003 overnight stays), followed by the months of March and April (495 tourists / 597 overnight stays), September and October (385 tourists / 473 overnight stays), May and June (280 tourists / 490 overnight stays), July and August (321 tourists / 343 overnight stays), as well as January and February (320 tourists / 751 overnight stays).
